Why do most people on this site shoot other makes of bows and not a Mathews. Please don't bash brand names. Price or what. This is the only site that I go to that isn't fond of the mathew line.

Theres plentyof people on this site that shoot mathews. Its not the majority, but a fair share none the less.

I use to shoot an LX but switched to the bowtech tribute last year for many reasons. But mainly because it fit "ME" better.

Because they are a Worthless, overpriced, chunk of aluminum, with an excessive amount of "hockey pucks, aka. dampners", Im just sayin'[8D]

All kidding aside, Mathews makes a good bow. I think the reason people give Mathews a hard time is because they advertise ALOT and their shooters always take everything to heart. Bottom line is, they make a GREAT bow, Mathew's has PLENTY of shooters. People shoot what they like/afford.

All kidding aside, Mathews makes a great bow

Because they aren't the best bows out there in many people's opinion.

I would say it's just a matter of personal preference.

For me, the Mathews line is a pooch when I shot them.... That's why it has such a smooth draw cycle. It just didn't live up to the expectations for me personally. I shot Hoyt for more years than I remember and switched to Bowtech....http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1421735

Mathews has a great bow but it's not for everyone, it wasn't for me.
