I checked it out but I didnt buy one cause it was way to heavy to lug in and out of the woods. But your a young buck so it would be easier for you. This old man needs something lighter...

I saw them last year after Christmas on sale for $50 and I picked one up. I like it pretty well. As already stated it's pretty heavy but not TOO bad. It's VERY comfortable. The only thing I have found is that I need to find a couple bungee's to go around the back of my feet because it only has the ones that go across the top. It can also be a little on the loud side if not careful so give yourself plenty of time and ALWAYS take your time climbing a tree.

yeah thanks guys
well im new to hunting out of climbing stands
always hunted ladders but climbers seem really handy
i was just wondering how you all get ur bows up in the tree?
i was thinking just tie a string to the stand and the other end to ur bow
have the string cut however high u want to be in the tree
then just climb till it doesnt have anymore slack
let me know how u guys do everything
thanks
ps. my leg is broken right now and still healing so i really hope it doesnt bother me climbing trees this october

I have one and for the money it's ok.
One thing that bugs me is it is so narrow that when you try to stand for the shot your jacket/sides rub the arm rests and I am not that big. I am 5' 10" 175 lbs
No way this stand would work for a bigger person IMO

API makes a cheap gear reel for like $10.
Since it is like a 1/2" wide piece of nylon ribbon, I like it better than the small rope b/c it won't twist or tangle as bad around your stand when bringing your bow up.
