How many of you...

The first thing that went through my mind was that I wish they would move closer. I've never peed on a deer before. That would be an excellent Kodak moment.

I can't even remember the number of times I've been busted. More than 1 less than 20. Bowhunted for 8 years before ever shooting a deer with it...if that tells you anything.

Never busted by a deer but <--- that bear busted me, not that it did him any good. He must'a decided that skinny ol' me didn't look too aweful threatening, or he just scoffed when he read "Hoyt" on the limb pointed at him and went about his business. If it was a BowTech he'd have probably run off with his tail tucked!

Kodiak,
I don't think I could bowhunt those things. I'd be an absolute wreck with one of those in sight. Honestly, I'm kind of phobic about them. Brings back nightmares. You've got more nerve than I do.

I was last year - the only time - in a ground blind with one of the mesh windows open so I could see better at first light. I had to hold a draw for what seemed like an eternity and acutally brought the lower cam down on my knee to help relieve some of the pressure. The doe looked away, I brought the bow back up and released and watched the arrow skim under her belly withtuft of white fur. Misjudged the distance. [:-]Needless to say, I NEVER have the mesh open anymore. And hasn't been a problem since.

Don't think of yourself as an ugly person. Think of yourself as a beautiful monkey

I've been spotted by a deer that i didnt know was around...I was drawing my bow on another deer and a deer i did not see spotted me and snorted and ran both of the deer out of the area.
