Well how many of you have grown up watching hunting shows, and wish that could be you? Well now you can. If any of you watch Cedar Spur outdoors you can become a field staff member for $1,000 dollors. What a deal You get to pay them to use your footage and you can never use your footage agiain. Oh no gaurintee that your footage will be used but if it is you get a $100 bucks back. Almost forgot you also get a hat.

You think that sounds far-fetched?
I see guys riding down the road on bicycles with logos all over their "touring gear". How much you reckon THAT costs them?
Want to advertise for PING by carrying their golf bag? What's THAT cost ya?
I agree in "pride of ownership".....but I want to get SOMETHING for what I'm paying for (in terms of added value).
I wouldn't pay $100 (much less $1K) to be on TV, hunting. I'm afraid someone would recognize me and know where I live if I shot a nice deer.
The same degenerates Quick was describing.....the ones living in mobile homes and driving $50K trucks with ATY's and bass boats behind them.......THEY will use their tax "refund" (snicker-snicker.....cough-cough....OVERPAYMENT) to pay this, though.
I'll bet you $100.

That really isn't that crazy if you think about it and the game ranch market.
Guy's with little hunting experience pay thousands of dollars to kill a big buck so they can put it on
their wall. Logically, why wouldn't they pay 1k more to get their "big hunt" on tv and brag about how
they were a staff member at a big hunting lodge?
It sounds like a decent business plan.
NOTE: I did not say I would do it or condone it.

You get a film crew to film your hunt, apparently. They'll even film you on your own property (as long as you are within a 50-mile radius of Jackson, MI.) Small price to pay for such an intense ego massage. [8D]

I wouldn't let them film me for free. I'd be too embarrassed when something inevitably went wrong. Plus, knowing my luck, I'd get buck fever, lose control and take a bad shot (straight down through the back)and they'd put it on TV.
