just wondering if any body hunts in central MA

yup, I hunt worcester county. I hunt in Rutland, Sterling, Warren and Brimfield.

watch out for deer ticks. Worst I have seen them in years. I was scouting Princeton/Rutland area and came back loaded with them

I typically hunt zone 8 and zone 7. In zone 8 I am often in Sturbridge and Barre. Based on how mild this past winter was I expected a lot of ticks this season. One of the guys I hunt with and his grandson went out scouting this week. One uses the Old Sawyer product and the other just tucked his pants in his socks. The one who used the Old Saywer had no ticks, His grandson was covered. The following day he removed 8 from his right leg.
