Too Big..unless your putting your tree stand in there. I see no reason for a pack that big.. For free it's nice, but would sit in the basement unused like 4 or other packs.

I was in the market for a pack that I could literally live out of for up to a week. Something I could haul my camp on my back and then be able to pack meat out with.

I had to buy every new fangled what-ever..many turn up use-less for 99% of the time. But I have one just in case I go hunting Penquins in Hawaii..

This'll be nice, I think. I just don't know how well it'll work for hauling meat out, seeing as how it has no frame on the bottom of the pack.
Dan - The pack isn't extremely noisy, but it isn't dead quiet either. It does make less noise than other packs I've used.
Don - Don't hate.

Germ - Perks of the job, huh? Sure makes going to work nice some days.

I still have a 17 year old Kelty external frame backpack that I used for a ton of hiking when younger (White Mountains, Ozarks, Big Bend, AT Trail).
Oh those were the good ole days.
It is now in my attic next to all the plastic baby stuff.
Go for the gold while you have no responsibilities Wash.
