Good luck to you, Dan. I went to the wildlife meetings the last couple of times......and, at least here.....you DO have a "voice"...if nothing else.

People hear ideas at meetings....and the next thing you know lots of people are talking about it. That's how our regs got changed, this year. We can now shoot unlimited does on private land........bowhunt during ML week....etc... These are thing swe couldn't do, even last year.

Get your friends together.....and go to the meetings.

It was intended to find out if everyone would rather pick their teams instead of a ramdom order , thanks to Buck Magnet and GregH for there input.

Just saw RD's rant. ON SUBJECT. Never been on a team, so should not have posted.

You can keep your Whisker Biscuit and your Frisbee and yes I saw your third reply.
I just wondered if others from last years contest would change if they had the option.
As for me , my team had 8 out 12 that scored on some nice bucks WoodlineBucks was one of them.
As for the other 4 inculding myself , well we gave it our best attemp at it.
If I had my choice I would like to see some of my old team mates but I would also like to have some of the big shooters as well.

I think we only had 10, RD.....so I'd say you had an advantage with 12.

Sure....if I could pick my team....and winning was THE most important thing.....I'd do that. But....I liked my team. Given the choice....I'd take my team from last year and have fun, again.

I might also pick guys I'd like to learn more about.......not just guys who shoot big deer. I had as much fun BS-ing with one of our guys last year that didn't enter a deer.
