Default Hey land-seekers..

Check this out..I'm so excited.
The Areas I huntprivate land, are farmsaround where I live. I work 1/2 hour away. So I placed an add in the Farm section of a local paper (work area) saying I was a Bowhunter..I commented on myexperience and ethics and family values..I added that I was willing to trade labor for exclusive land rights for bow-season.
I figured it was a long shot..but for a 20$ or so was worth a try.
I got a call this morning from a guy, interested in meeting. We talked for quite a while. He says he has some nice property that he needs some help on. He too, is an avid Bowhunter and works in the Business. He said rights won't be exclusive, you'll hunt with me..We have a meeting set-up early July to walk the land and get more familiar with each other and what's expected.

I might just get some new land and more importantly make a friend and hunting buddy.

Thats great congrats. I did the same thing 10 years ago on Nantucket Island in Ma. but I never got any takers. But like you said for $20.00 its definetly worth a try.

I hope it works out, good idea, I hate being back in PA when I lived in Montana almost every rancher in the area would let you hunt their land especially with a bow.

Thats a good tip! I might have to try that. I'll test-fire it on craigslist and see if I get any takers.

When i feel like hunting, i just walk out the back door on my family and friends combined properties. Nothing much, just about 500 acres in northeast ohio that only me and my brother can hunt all bow season by oursleves.....

Thats good that you found a possible new hunting partner! Where in Ohio are we talking??
