It all depends on where I decide to hunt on a certain day. Some days it's a 5 minute drive, other days it's a 15 minute drive...(if I feel like a road trip).

When I hunt here in Wisconsin I drive about 45 minutes to an hour! My cabin in Norther Michigan is about 6 hours from where I live, there I just have to walk out the door and into the woods!

After looking at this poll, don't feel so bad about having to drive for an1 1/2 hours to get to the camp. I could hunt around the house but do not have the deer around here that we have around the camp.

2 hours plus was the norm for most of my deer hunting days, back when I mainly gun hunted. Now that I'm bow hunting mostly I can get to my best spot in about 45 minutes.

300yd 3min walk usually. That's to the place all my trailcam pics are from. If we hunt state land its about a 45min drive of so, but I don't hunt up there unless everyone is seeing deer, to me it's not worth it if you aren't seeing deer.

Here in Pa I have a 20 min drive, around 13 miles to the State Park. It's about a 5hr plane ride for me to get to Alberta.

I can either walk ten minutes to a stand (we have 45 acres and two sides are bordered by national forest with national forest across the road) or drive 10 minutes to my Dad's (he has 72 acres, we lease 60 acres with him across from his corrall, plus we have the hunting rights on the 200+ acres we mow). It all depends on where I want to hunt and what type of stand I want to hunt out of (ladder stand and blinds at the house, box stands elsewhere). And yes I do know how lucky I am ... I thank God everyday that we live where we do.
