Hey GERM; I started out shooting a golden eagle years ago,switched over to PSE,because 65% letoff.shot these a good while.then in 97 switched over to mathews for 80% letoff and it was just a superor bow.I am now in the process of buying a bowtech,but not because of the name.When i decided i wanted a new bow i shot all the top brands newest bows,hoyt,pse,mathews,bowtech,and decided on the commander from bowtech because it shot really well and had everything i was looking for in a bow,speed,comfort,queitness,it was a dream to shoot.point is when i buy a bow i buy what feels right for me at the time although i won't buy a bow if it feels good in my hands but does'nt perform up to my standards.

I haveowned many different bows over the years, I hunted with a Browning for most of the 80's and 90's but have had other brands as well. To me it's what feels right and shoots well for me. I have a Fred Bear Code now and I plan on shooting it till I feel the need to change it......for whatever reason.
I will always have a soft spot for Brownings because it was the first compound bow I ever purchased (mid 80's)plus I hunt upland birds witha Browningand collect older Browning shotguns as well......gotta love them gold triggers!

I really ever stick with the same brand because it doesnt matter to me, i shot a PSE the last 2 years and I currently shoot a Martin but i will most likely try another brand when i get a new bow.

whichever I can get the best bang for my buck shooting a Renegade Tominator II right now I paid 300.00 for it. it shoot quiet, smooth, and fast. may not be as fast as some of the top bows out there But it has no problem delievering the arrow for a clean kill. And due to the fact that Im a tightwad I will be using this bow for a looong while.
