Buckle only, I don't want velcro anywhere near me while hunting!

I'll be the odd-ball..Velcro here. I don't put it on and off..once it's on at the truck it stays on till I'm back at the truck..It doesn't make any noise once cinched down.

Same as GR8,

It's not like I sit there taking it on and off on the stand, so
the velcro is not a problem. It doesn't make any "velcro" noises
while sitting on the stand.

I like the looks of that Tru-Fire Bulldog, it has a forward trigger and
a catch to keep the release back and out of the way. That might
be my next release (or one of the Scotts I keep hearing about).

I probably wouldn't have an issue with a velcro strap either....except....

How do you keep the meatal part of your release aid from clanking on the rail as you're climbing? It seems to always do that.....so I just leave it attached to my bow until I hoist it up and get settled.

And....How do you know you've got it in exactly the same spot, every time (could change your draw?)?

Just different strokes....
