I remember reading something about these a while back. Something about some sort of white-water canoe/kayak/raft club that had some sort of rule about an initiation. The ceremony went something like you had to let a club officer shoot a beer can off your head with an arrow or something like that. If I recall....I think it was in....you guessed it...West Virginia.

Of course...it was probably some fwd email or something...so who only knows if thats the real story or not. Just seem to remember that story being attached.
