That's all I know. Another one references "1.5mi.offshore".

I have seen them swimming across a 2.5 mile wide lake. But that doesn't compare.

Must be trying to get away from an area with alot of hunting pressure. I've heard ofdeer swimming from island to island, but 1 1/2 miles off shore is quiet a under taking.
