Default Where are they?

Anyone else notice that the bigger bucks have seemed to vanish? Atleast for me they have stoped coming to my camera. Only gettin does and little guys.

I think they've formed the bachelor groups and are steerin clear of the does w/ the new fawns (cant say i blame them[8D])... Im gonna put a camera up on a mineral supplement further away from the corn pile to see if I can find them.

Are you in area with a pile of camera'shave theylearned to stay away from them?

We have trained deer to bait piles, feeders, and in MI even to look up into trees. How long before the older deer figure out the flashy thing is bad

nope, Ive got 1 camera up and they dont seem to mind it, been going to it all winter long....

I think they've just moved on, too much other fresh foilage and new growht to keep hittin the corn every day.

On a side note though....Thought it was funny when I took my new dog w/ me to checkmy cameraand the flash startled him.

I don't care about your deer, Ed.

I've patterned two does that are going by my primary morning stand at 6:40AM and 6:49AM, routinely.

Bet should be over, before 7:00.

Pay up, SUCKA!

Lisa wants to go this year, too. Ever see that segment with Bill Engvall (sp?) when he takes his wife hunting????

I can see my wife asking the same question.....10 minutes into our hunt....while she checks her watch....

"What time do the deer come"?

Haha, she tried to talk me into letting her go, and I informed her that me losing requires her to do some spooning... She stopped asking [8D]

I'll be takin her plenty this year though.

Some deer DO mind camera flash....I have a friend who has had a camera out and was getting a nice buck then it was gone. He set out one of those Drury's video Mad Eyes and filmed the buck walk towards the camera, stop before it and walked around it so it didn't go off....amazing footage. I told him he should send it to them.

Another issue, if your not practicing scent control, he might already feel pressured and moved.
