seen an amazing mount at the local shop has a buck licking a doe's face mounted on top of a stone pedastel - very impressive mount

I really like it when a buck and doe mount is together and the doe's ears are laid back and the doe's head is slightly leaning in toward the buck...looks really neat. I don't have a pic, but I saw this at the taxidermist where I go.

r33...I like that idea. What I think I'll do is....."hopefully" get a doe my son shoots mounted. I suppose I could take the buck mount in with me and leave it with him for a bit.....to let him incorporate the two (pick a good mold).

I want it to be special. My son's gonna end up with all of them, anyways.....and I just think it would be something to look back on, fondly ("our" deer).

I've never tried to mount one....... always found it difficult to catch up to them when wearing rubber boots and velcro gloves [&:] LOL
Just kiddin', I wouldn't mind one on the wall and have said to the wife that we might wait for her to get her first deer and get it done.
