Gutshot and recovered a spike 14 years ago, in October, 1993. Easton gamegetter II's, Punchcutter broadheads, PSE Spirit bow. First archery buck. Still remember walking home, happier than a pig in mud,and telling my dad to drive me down the road to the ash dumps to load up my buck.
Greg - killing a buck with a recurve at that young age is no small accomplishment buddy. I'd be as proud of that picture as I would be of any 130+ bow kill with modern equipment.

After reading these replies, I get the feeling than many of you are a LOT younger than I thought!
Except you GregH, you're a dinasuar! That's awesome that you were fortunate enough to be bowhunting as modern bowhunting was just truly begining! We didn't even have a bow season in my state until the 60's! Awesome!
