Default Techo Hunt Scores

After reading about MDbuckhunter and dave I got to thinking about my scores in techohunt. I was just curious about what you guys average. Myself I average about 7.5-7.6 on most of the mixed game sessions(dont laugh too hard now). The highest in the shop was a 8.1 so I was just wonderin what thte masters like you shoot.

We had a hard time figuring out where to find the highest scores. Dave and I both shoot for pass throughs which mean a double lung "body shot" worth 8 pts.

Once we figured out a heart is a bullseye...we were only really aiming there.

We averaged in the lower 7's.

What was most impressive is that we averaged lower 7's through the small game.

Like I said in my other post....ducks bobbing up and down on a pond...pigeons flying in the air...snakes coiling...it was a blast.

I havn't shot the Technohunt for over a year and a half but the last time I went I was getting around 220-230 total score before the "handicap". Some of those shots are tough, the bullfrog with its head just barely out of the water, the coiling rattlesnake, and the turtles on the log come to mind. On the other hand, then you have that raccoon that its head fills the entire screen!!

The small game is very hard. The thing that kept ticking me off is they give you a miss on shots that are good. They were having issues with the machine before we shot.

For the first time I'm happy with how both Josh & I shot though. The next session I would expect better scores on both rounds. We were laughing our a$$es off on the small game and some of the animal choices. The duck on the pound with waves was great. Josh said he was watching my bow and it kept going up and down with the waves. I did get a bull on that though.

I did have shots were I just missed the little critters. Mostly the birds.[:@]

The one rabbit is so big that Josh & I both didn't see it for a while. We were looking for something smaller. Poor Josh kept getting the crazy shots for the Big Game. Two grizzlies fighting. long shots on moving game. Then, I'd get the elk standing broadside with his leg forward looking the other way.

Then came the monkey. I won't tell you were I first aimed. I couldn't stop laughing...then I got to shoot it again! (machine...having problems)

We will murder than thing next time.

Draw the bow...wait for the leg to move forward and then release.

How about the prairie dog infront of the catcus. How many times did you hit that one Dave?
