advice--- ohio or ill?
 

wondering what the concensus was between the two... hoping to have a chance to hunt either or so im tryin to decide..... mark pa you say ohio?

I'd say it depends on how you're going to hunt. If you are using an outfitter or have access to a lease Illinois has some incredible bucks. However, if you are going to be asking permission or hunting public land Ohio would be my choice.

Illinois' reputation has made getting property/permission much more difficult. Ohio has a little more of an "open door policy."

Public land Ohio is great!!

Ill is great also, either one will give you a chance at a nice buck!!

There are no big bucks in IL. Its all a rumor to drive up land prices and leases.:DMy vote is for Ohio.

My choice is Ohio based on the fact that there will be 6 or 7 of us hunting and we can pick up non-res tags over the counter. Plus and this is a big bonus after the last hunt we went on Ohio is much Closer:)

My vote would be Illinios. Ohio wouldn't be all that bad either. But when I think of Illinios, I think of big bucks.
