Default Black bear down

Hello all, just got back last night fromt he great north of canada. Had a wonderful trip hunting black bear. Got in last night at 2 in the morning so i havent had time to unpack and get the pictures and everything downloaded yet, but they will come. Will leave more detail later on, but there were 9 of us hunting in camp this past week and 8 shot bear. I myself shot a bear that weighed in about 120 pounds. Not a monster at all, but it was my first black bear so i was excited. The largest i saw was about 225, but no shot presented itself. You all were right, black bear are hard to judge, but its a great time, if you havent gone, i highly suggest going on a spring bear hunt. Over 4 nights of hunting i saw 7 different bear ranging from 80 - 225 pounds. Once i settle in ill get pics posted for you all.

sounds like that area isn't managed well if 225# is the biggest you seen.
