I find it funny case I'm sure EVERYONE knows that guy who sees big buck after big buck over the summer. You'd think there was one behind every tree talking to him. Season comes and he shoots a small 5 pt first week.

Im going to say 125. But heres somethign else you should add to the rules. No game farm deer allowed. All deer must be 100% wild and fair chase. I could easilly go the game farm that I visit once in a while and take out a 200+ class buck and smoke the competiton. Every deer I have shot has been off my own property 100% wild and fair chase.

No contest, no rules. Just state your minimum standards, and if you shoot something less, you agree that others can tease you.
Nice and simple.

Wow I didn't expect this thread to start so early...It's tough to make an estimate now as I don't know what's going to be on the properties that I hunt (or additional lands that may be acquired).Late summer scouting sessions will firm up my numbers and could influence them dramatically.
But I can say this the Buck I take in OHIO will be above 125" This number hopefully will increase based on late summer sightings and video footage.

See here's the rub....(and yes...I'll post a score).
THE deer I'm after, this season.....is at least 4.5 yrs old. He STILL won't go (I don't think) 100". He's a big 'ol bodied bruiser, though (for these parts)....and I consider him a trophy worthy of the wall. I might see a larger antlered deer (and, who knows, maybe a larger BODIED deer)....but I have my eyes on this ONE.
I ALSO liked this statement by Rybo....
If I see a 3.5 yr old.....I most likely have seen him, before. I may or may not shoot....just depends. I think he'll have to be as big as the one from last year.....or I see no point. Every buck I shoot from now on......is going on the wall (unless it's an injury situation).
But.....I have to use the buck I'm after's "likely" score.....so....I think he'll go at least 90". That's my score I'll hold out for.
This will be my first season letting anything like that pass. I know what some of you guys MUST go through every year.....seeing much smaller deer posted in the contest thread.......and watching deer pass on a regular basis. I guess this is part of "maturing" as a hunter (If hunting large racked deer is your forte'......NOTHING wrong with shooting younger deer). It should be interesting.
I'd take a big 'ol goose egg to witness my son let the air out of one!

But for me, I can't 100% say a rack score will do it. If I think the buck is 3.5+ I'm shooting.

I'll sign up. 100" and/or 3.5 years old.
Last year I had some awesome encounters with some truly good bucks (for PA/NY) in the 120-130" range and ended up shooting one well below what I really wanted. I don't regret it, it was an awesome hunt and the buck really put on a great show for me and I ended up with a double header that morning with my best hunting buddy, but I do wish I would have held out for something bigger because I know the bigger deer were there.
I know 100" isn't a huge deer for a lot of you but it would be my biggest with a bow and I think an attainable goal. When hunting APAJaws place this year I may wait for something bigger than 100", the age structure there is much more mature than anywhere I have ever hunted, I was able to encounter 3 different bucks last year @ 3.5 years and god only knows how many 2.5 year olds that we know survived.
**Edit - I'm not making any promises on does. There are too many on my place in PA, if it is at least 1.5 years old I am shooting everyone I can legally, and I am hoping Rob / PA can come up and shoot a few too. I would like to get 4 off the property this year if I can between myself, Rob, and my bud Dan.
