A new season is coming .
This coming will be my second deer season in the field . At this point - I'm totally self edjucated on the subject . I saw a book last year at Gander Mountain called "Deer Hunting 101" Iamgoing to pick this up . Are there any other that you could recomend for me ? Thanks .

This will be my 2nd FULL season deer hunting (coming up). Read EVERYTHING you can. Watch EVERY show you can.
But more importantly......DON'T be afraid to ask questions in this forum. There are more experienced whitetail hunters (and other species) that are MORE THAN HAPPY to share with you.....than you'd ever guess.
WONDERFUL people, here.....and I utilize their expertise almost daily.

Funny thing is when Joe and I first met we did not get along, and now weare good friends. Joe really help me understand mature whitetails. I still have a pile to learn!!!

Everyone here has different angles of going at deer hunting. Different approaches work for different hunters, soak up everything you can, slowlyyou will go in your own direction. You will never stop learning that is the beauty of the sport.
