Default Stand Placement Help...

Went out to the property yesterday and was looking and working on putting up some new tree stands for this fall. I wanted some opinions and feedbackon where the stars are for stand placement considerations. Red stars are where tower stands tree stands exist and are in close proximity to a feeder and the white stars are where I am thinkging of putting some tree stands. The green fields are food plots we plant. Just wanted some thoughts, thanks.

Is that a road that runs next to that outside bend in the river, where that bright dot area is?

I would put up some stands where I marked the yellow dots along the river. They should be natural funnels along the river bluff and around the food plot. You can use the river as a blocker to keep them from getting down wind.

I would also check out the area I marked in blue. Looks to be a pretty good size revine. I would bet you could find some places where the deer cross regularly.

Good luck.

It looks like jmbuckhunter and I were thinking of the same thing and I agree with him.
You should consider putting some stands up along the river for the very same reason jmbuckhunter said.
You might want to put some stands near those small ponds too.
