wearing a watch when you hunt
I am curious first of all how many of you hunt when you hunt and if it effects the hunting. I know it could give off a glare that a turkey or deer could see.
I personally do not wear a watch when hunting, i tell the time by using the sun...jk...i simply sit until dark at night or whenever I want in the morning

I wear a watch as well and let my sleeves/gloves cover it. I need to know time of the kill for my tags and it also helps after the shot. You know, when you "know" it's been a half hour since you shot and you look and its been 7 minutes.

Same here

I wear a watch all the time. I really don't feel right without it on.
My UA gloves have long enough bands to cover my watch, though. So...glare isn't an issue.

I wear a watch when I hunt, the band is washed in atsko soap, and I hit it with scent killer as well.I also wouldn't feel right without it on my wrist.I play games with myself when there is no movement going on,like let's see how much time can go by beforeI glance at my watch.
When rifle hunting with others in big country where we are hunting alone but within radio communication of one another without a time piece we wouldn't be able to effectively communicate with one another. Also keeping track of how much time it took to get in to a particular spot aides you in knowing when and how to plan your exit. There are a lot of practical reasons for wearing one or having it in a pocket.(zipped preferably)
