The guy who built my house in 2002 saw the biggest buck ever (who knows what that means..but he held his arms way wide and tall to show a friggin Elk dimensions) On the back half of my 2.5 acres. In that situation I'm shooting!

If it's in MY yard, it's not legal. No way to get 50 yards (PA archery safety zone) away from the other houses.
Now, if it's in my hypothetical yard that the legality is not an issue that buck has got some problems.

A couple years ago my mom took the dogs out while my dad and I were out hunting and a monster 10 point walked 60 yards from her and the dogs. He bedded about 200 yards from their house and my dad was able to sneak to 50 yards, but never got a shot. This stuff does happen depending where you are. I see no shame in it.
