Trail Cam - Does IR really make a difference?

I wouldn't put TOO much stock in what's using the area during the Summer, either. The same deer might not be there, come Fall......OR....different deer might use the area when the mast crops start to fall.
I only use mine to see what "might" be there come Fall. Some of the deer I get photos of.....I never see during the season. It's just "A" tool.

GMMAT,
This is one of those frustrating things I'm trying to get to the bottom of. I don't want to spend money on trailcams! The old woods is where we keep hoping big bucks will bed and ambush one on the way to or from food source, but it has been frustrating. We have a canal, ditch, spill bank, oaks, 2 foodplots in the woods, etc., but the big deer still seem to like the thick, swampy cut over and the new mitigation plantings, so I'm thinking of spending less time in the woods (except for closer to the edges around food plots and near some big white oaks). What I was gonna use the cams for was to scout out a couple of low impact high traffic areas to do some quick in and out climber hunts. The marketing works, I can't get that stupid "No flash, no dash" concept out of my head.

GMMAT,
Is that how you get your post count up? j/k.
Thanks for the hard evidence. You have outdone the Cuddeback marketers.
