found 3 sheds and a bonus
#1
I went shed hunting last weekend and had a great time. I found a 2 point, 4 point, and 5 point. Bucks are starting to put on antlers. I saw several with 2 to 3 inches of growth so far. I sure could get close to the deer this time of year. I think I heard more snorts and stomping feet last sunday than i have in the last couple years combined. The bonus of the trip was finding something that is very speacial to me. I found my 110 buck knife that my dad gave me about 15 years ago when I was a teenager. I had lost it about 2.5 years ago after field dressing a 100-110 class 4 x 4 whitetail. Three winters and 2 summers out in the South Dakota weather. I cleaned it up with a little wood polish and brasso. I can barely tell the difference from the same model of knife I got last year. Buck makes one tough knife. No rust and just a little tarnished brass. Made my day. I will post a few pictures of the sheds and the knife when ever I find the camera.

Good find.
I still have to get out and look for my PUMA knife that I lost winter while draining a pond. I know about where it is, but I'm going to use my father-in-laws metal detector just in case .
