Sexy...Kind of.
My new wraps, that is.
While walking through the store yesterday, I was struck with a halfway intelligent idea. I had just passed the fishing lures and came across something that I thought was pretty neat.   Reflective fishing lure tape. Wraps normally go for $14.99 per dozen. I made 18 1"x7" wraps for $3.87. Shine a flashlight on these bad boys after dark and you'll go blind. Well... You'll be able to find them pretty quick, anyway. Just thought I'd share the idea. ;) |

As far as what? Reflecting and spooking animals? I'm pretty sure that as long as I'm not waiving my quiver around in the tree I should be safe. Worst case scenario I'll cover it with an extra shirt. We can't use lumenoks here, so I was looking for something to aid in arrow recovery. |

I use reflective wraps that I know don't react adversely to sunlight (just flashlight at night). Just a thought.

For the price, it was worth trying out. We've actually got some glow in the dark lure tape too, so I may try that out as well. I just hate paying $14.99 for a dozen wraps! |

Cool idea, but I was thinking the same thing as Jeff as soon as I saw them. If you're moving (drawing, adjusting on the deer, etc.) the sun could reflect off your arrow and you're busted.
On another note, why are your Blazers so far away from the nock? I've never seen them set up like that before. |
