Texas. I say that only because of the incredibly STRICT restrictions most of those ranches have.....I think that somewhere out there is a ranch that is trying to do precisely that, grow a world record buck.

Based on the last P&Y issue I looked at, it would have to be Saskatchewan (sp), Iowa, Minnesota, or KS...

I'm surprised you don't here more about Minnesota.. They had something like 3 in the top 10 P&Y's for that issue... Big deer, 160+......

If your talkin Pope and Young, I doubt Canada will be the place as there are very few bowhunters here.

Iowa or Kansas are my top picks with Ohio and Illinois ranked just under them.

I'm really surprised no one has said Wisconsin. Have we all forgotten about Buffalo County? Buffalo County and the surrounding area pulls out huge bucks every year, and thetopography of thearea leaves a ton of land that is next to impossible to cover thoroughly.I will also go out on a limb and say Southern Indiana or Northern Kentucky havegood shots too. There have been some massive deer taken the past few years from the area and they seem to keep getting bigger. The terrain can be very hard to hunt in those areas and the one buck rule in Indiana leaves a ton of big deer in the woods every year.
