Another post got me curious as to how many of us bowhutners have been fortunate to take a turkey with archery equipment. I personally think it is one of the most difficult animals to hunt.

Yea ... I got a jenny during the Michigan fall turkey hunt , took her head off with a muzzey broadhead at 15 yards.

Yes, in the spring. But it has been a few years. Leaving in mid-April every year for 7 months in Canada has put a damper on my turkey hunting.

yup 2 bowkills on spring turkeys (2 for 2, knock on wood)

I marked spring as I could only choose one, but I have taken several in both spring and fall.

One fall tom, had a 8.5 inch beard and 3/4inch spurs. I shot him off the ground at about 4 yards, pretty cool. Went this spring for the first time using strickly archery tackle and was unsuccessful.

1 in the Fall from a treestand, 1 in the Spring off the ground from anatural ground blind, my two so far.
