I was looking at some of these and i like the way that there is only 1 pin but i was curious on how they work?
I didnt think that they could be very accurate but i also heard that you should only use them if you are treestand hunting.
Have any of you guys tried these or owned one?
Tell me about them cause i cant seem to figure them out.
Thanks

I am a former pendulum owner. I owned the keller pendulum for years, and I owned a savage pendulum.
They do work, follow the instructions and sight them in from the ground, then get up over 15ft and it is pretty accurate up to 30yds. After 30yds they are a little erratic.
What I didn't like about them was the noise...everytime I would shoot..a very loud vibration sound would come from my bow. This happened with both sights.
I now have switched a bought a single pin Impact Jumbo sight, I love it, its bright and very durable... and very quiet.

i use the savage sight love it.
once you sight it in and shoot from a tree or elevated height, then go to the ground and shoot 20 yards and thirty yards.i aim high at thirty and almost dead on at 20yards.

I had been using one the last two seasons and it worked well, but I like to try to hit exactly where I am aiming so I am switching back to a pin sight. It was within 2 1/2" of dead center from 5-30 yards and then had a 4" drop at 35 yards. I knew how far off it was at distances in 5 yard increments so I could compensate, but it's getting to be too much to think about during "go time" so I'm going back to pins. If you're looking for a 1 pin sight that will cover most distances they're a pretty good way to go.
