BBD with Vengeance! Finally
After a miserable season bowhunting turkeys, including arrowing and not recovering a great bird on openning day, I finally put one down for the count this a.m. at 7:15. Everything was textbook, 4 birds gobbling hard on the roost and this big double beard tom came in to fight jake jr. Broadside at 15 yards made a perfect hit and he flopped down for good after wobbling another 20. He weighs in at 24 pounds, 11 & 6 inch beards with a couple 3/4in. spurs that are worn down.
I owe this bird to RDhunter who talked to me privately after losing a bird a couple weeks ago. I was fixed on putting away the bow but he talked me out of it, and here I am today having turkey breast. Thanks RD.

That sure is a dandy.
The same thing happened to me, i arrowed 2 birds and they both flew off and by then i was about to quit all together but after talking to some guys i finaly pulled it together and got a dandy of a bird on thursday.

I'm glad to hear you stuck with it and gave it anothertry with a bow, did you usethat string tracker I told you about ?
