definently that time....went to a guys farm yesterday to show the GF elk he raises...they had a good bit of growth already...

actually watched one use his antlers to scratch the inside of his rear leg...thought that was pretty neat! they might be penned raised elk...but neat to watch none the less...the GF never seen something like that...she loved it.

Looks like its time to put the trail camera out and watch the boys grow all summer.

Rob and I saw a buck, last Sat (4/21) that was growing 'em pretty good (1"?). He had a completely black face and a pretty good sized body (for deer, here).

I'm looking forward to some photos of this guy in the coming months.
