Deer wouldn't already be growing antlers again would they?
 

I got a few pics of bucks from my trailcam with nubs on their heads. Isn't to early for them to start growing racks again?

Actually, I would think that looks about right for this time of year... Just a month or so and they'll be sprouting them good, so that makes perfect sense.

Just curious but have you sat down andlooked at the pic that you posted.I just did and I see antlers growing on that deers head. So it would stand to reason that it isn't too early for deer to start growing antlers. ;)

definently that time....went to a guys farm yesterday to show the GF elk he raises...they had a good bit of growth already...

actually watched one use his antlers to scratch the inside of his rear leg...thought that was pretty neat! they might be penned raised elk...but neat to watch none the less...the GF never seen something like that...she loved it.

Rob and I saw a buck, last Sat (4/21) that was growing 'em pretty good (1"?). He had a completely black face and a pretty good sized body (for deer, here).

I'm looking forward to some photos of this guy in the coming months.
