Default Cody to the rescue???

Through the magic of UPS tracking......I've found that my new Cody Drop Dead slate will be waiting for me when I get home.

So far.....my turkey season's been harder than doin' Der Kommissar in karaoke. Maybe this is JUST the thing I need to get me on track.

If I were fortunate enough to take my first bird.....with my wife in the blind with me in the morning......I'm buying everybody on the bowhunting forum.....................

.................something.

Good luck. Maybe that new call will be just the thing to pull 'em in.

If it works for you I may have to order one too, Jeff.

These turkeys here have been giving me the run around this season. I can call in plenty of Jakes, but the mature birds won't fall for it.

I had EIGHT different birds gobbling within a 75 yard radius yesterday morning and the only one that came in came in behind me spitting and drumming and took off because he couldn't see my decoy. Only about a 6 inch beard, but I would have drilled him if he'd have offered a shot.

Good luck tomorrow, I hope you stick one.

How many decoys did you setup?

I would HAPPILY take a jake, WH.......HAPPILY.

After I get one under my belt....I may change.....BUT.....ya'll can call me the jakenator...and I'd love it.

I've seen 12 legal birds, so far.....and I am NOT proud. I was glassing a hen, Saturday.....and her wet, tufted feathers about bought her a projectile.

If I see a whisker.....I'm shootin.

We're going to test it again on Saturday. UncleTrigger needs a turkey. I am going to see if it works again.

I will let you know

If it does I may need to buy a bigger decoy bag.

We've got probably a dozen or more decoys laying around the house from over the years, I could throw a flock out if I wanted.
