Default seats for blinds????

Just wondering what seat most use in pop ups or natural blinds. I have been using one of the three legged tripod seats with the triangle pad. Its nice for carring but gave me fits sinking in the wet ground. Is there a light, small, easy to carry or pack thats better than what im using?? pros, cons.

I responded to you on my post, but the tripod seats are great for pop-up blinds. I think that they are too elivated for natural ground blinds so i use the little seat that i got at walmart that keeps me off the ground enough so that im comfortble, yet it doesnt put me up too high. Im not sure of the brand or any other info. Im sure you can find something similar on the internet.

PT, that's a decision you won't ever regret!

I use the tripod from Double Bull, but to be honest, it's not very comfortable and it sinks in the mud....Not a fun day of hunting if you ask me. I've used those fold out arm chairs, you know, the ones in the bags....They are terrific as far as comfort goes, but they are a little tough to shoot from....Not impossible mind you, but tough. And they are quite cumbersome to carry in....

That tripod has a few things going for it though. It's light, fits in my blind bag, and is the perfect height to shoot out of the windows.

I have been using the Eastman Outfitters High Backed Stool. Not quite as compact as the three-legged model you are using but more comfortable with the high-back.
