(That is, if you define "living the dream" assurviving on Top Ramen and Cup-o-noodles, living in adingy beachfront shack, waiting tables for pennies on the dollar, spending every spare dollaron rent - beer - women - and boardshorts). I would sell my soul to have the chance to do that again, and there isn't a day that passes where I don't let my mind take me back... Tan girls, food on my plate, a roof over my head, a couple dollars in my pocket, daylight to burn andmy longboard calling my name. It just doesn't get any better than that. )

When I got my first bow....it was a Mathews Switchback.....and I never intended to hunt deer with it (If you'r e familiar witht he Mathews line....you'll also note that the SB came out in '05.....the year I first shot a compound bow). I intended to only hunt turkeys....and my original screen name was SBGobblers.
After purchasing another brand....I switched it to GMMAT. I had a phrase marked on the lower limb of my SB....and the initials are there on the lower limb of my Allegiance. God Make My Aim true. |

My dad first took me bowhunting with him when I was five, got me hooked and I have been hunting with him for 22 years since. Now it has a double meaning though as my 16 month old son is only a few years away from hopefully being my huntingson :)Cheesy, but that is my real dream.

Nickname I got in college twenty-eight(?) years ago. I'm 6'5", 295, but I got the nickname because of my disposition. I had a bad temper, and didn't put up with a lot of s***.

last name is Burby, first name Austin. Hence burbaust and the 99 comes from the number I wore for years playing hockey (12 years with that number to be exact, don't remind the girlfriend, she's still mad that I had to switch numbers when I started playing on my college team)- so we take burbaust and add 99. There's my story.

I own 130 acres and I love to be in the woods and yes I am a man. I couldn't think of anything else,I just wanted to post a picture of the buck I just shot but man did I find a lot more information and people with the same addiction as I do.

i have fakejordan as mine because my first year at my new high school, i looked like oneof the soccer players named jordan, so they called me fakejordan. and anyone the soccer team sees that resembles me we begin calling fakefakejordan (actually happened once). At this moment at my school, most of my friends dont know my real name and some of the teachers even call me fakejordan.

RIStrutStopper- RI because I live in RI, StrutStopper because I signed up just before turkey season a few years back and love turkey hunting. The name still holds true, yesterday a turkey went struttin' right into my decoys and I stopped him but good ;) Used a load of #5's though, not my bow.
