We had a very exciting weekend this week. Saturday and Sunday we saw 7 or 8 gobblers each day and just couldnt close the deal. It all paid off today when a big mature gobbler saw our jake decoy and came running in. He started struttin in the decoys and when he turned away and drew and put my 20 pin on him. I hit him a tad low but the tightpoint did the job as he jumped in the air flapped his winds and took off running down the hill. He didnt go to far before he piled up. Im not tagged out in Missouri and cant wait to attempt to fill the Nebraska tag again.
