String just jumped off the wheel on my Hoyt
I'm goin to the pro shop tomorrow b/c I need to set the draw length on it anyways. My buddy drew the bow back and as he began to let back off it jumped off the top wheel(peep string). Is it hurting anything letting it set between the limb/wheel? Cause there isn't much I can do right now. He said his PSE Mach 8 once dropped the string off the cam w/ an arrow halfway drew back.

That stinks .Have the shop look at it and fix it it very well could have worn the string where it is between the cam . Probably will need a new string but have them fix for you

Could be something as simple as the guy has a death grip on the bow and is twisting it as he draws it. What he does if he does this is the same as having a catastropic cam lean situation.
