So I have been getting this thing ready now that turkey season is just around the corner and I plan to hunt with the bow for most of turkey season this year. This is also the bow I plan to hunt with for deer season unless something else comes out that really interests me. I usually shoot a couple of 3D events locally first thing in the spring and then take a break from 3D and focus on turkey season and food plots for most of May or at least until tags are full and my initial spring plot work is done. After this weekend I will be shooting this bow full time for practice and will be hanging up the 3D bow for a few weeks. The only thing I plan to change is to remove the thermal grip and replace with the leather wrap/wood side plate thermal elite grip which is so much nicer. This one is OK, but I really really like the thermal elite for a hunting bow.

So here it is, it's nothing special but it is butter smooth, fairly quick, and just as quiet and hand shock free as the XT I shot last year.

Not sure on how fast it is, but I really don't care. I am guessing 270fps or so. It does shoot though, that's for sure. Pics don't have the sight because APAJaws "borrowed" it yesterday to play with a bit, but I will have it back by this weekend and a final tune and sight in for turkey season that opens weekend after next.
