Strange season... green foilage into mid-November... one shot in NY... medium-sized buck, dressed 130. It was almost 70 degrees when I butchered him. No shots in Mass... snow for gun season but no sightings... took Friday off; season ended Saturday. Had truck trouble and had to be towed... ruined hunt and mood. Got home and looked out back window at woods... doe and large buck digging for acorns. Re-assembled broadheads (Muzzy 125, 3 blade), slipped on some camo and put on a stalk. Had wind and got a 40-yard, downhill, quartering-away shot. Old six-point (about 4.5 years, judging by teeth), dressed 184 lbs. As I said, you never know... Have a great Holiday!

Congratulations!
The "backyard" can provide some of the best hunting opportunities... but I guess you know that. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
Shoot often - Hunt always
