James, those look awesome. Just curious if you know what form and pose the shed buck is mounted on. I really like the head tilted up slightly. It looks as if it would make a good flehman pose if it had the mouthset added. Great mounts, congrats!!

Congrats on the bucks and nice mounts. Man, your taxidermist must have a frequent shopper card or something.

I didn't start hunting this buck in 2006 until the last two weeks in December. I generally save this spot in particular for late season. I kept urging my brother to go there and see what was around, but he never did. Finally I took the time to set up a cam and this big boy showed up. I did see him while on stand during the last few days in December. Had one shot opportunity and passed on hopes of getting a higher percentage shot. The shot never presented itself and the buck lived to see another day. I kicked myself about not taking the shot...that was until I found both of the sheds. I picked up the sheds not 36 hours after they were dropped. No bleaching, and not a single chew mark on 'em. I'll be doing my best to catch up with this buckthis year.

Mounts look great James, I remember when you first posted the pics of the sheds and the trail cam photos of that bruiser. Hope you get him, then you'll have a double take...very cool..best of luck ..next fall on him
