I've tried most of the commercial fletching jigs available and the best of the best is the Bitz. Save you money on the cheaper models and buy the best Bitz now, it will last a lifetime!

ORIGINAL: RickmurThe JoJan does all that too. I have had mine for over 20 years. How do you wear one out to begin with?
Serious question, not for arguments sake. Have to keep everyone happy.
Exactly-I've fletched everything from 5/16" carbons to 23/64" cedars and never had to make an adjustment.I also think the JoJan puts a better helical than anything else.As for maintainance,I've never had to do anything to it in the 10+ yrs I've been using it and have made literally hundred's of arrows. If the indexer goes bad(which I've never seen one go bad),you pull it out and pop another in.Pretty easy

Just to clarify, I had my Jo-Jan for at least 20 years and never had the slightest problem with it. But, like I said, it got to where I didn't need a multi-station fletcher any more and I really WANTED a Bitz, so...

By the way, for someone who doesn't want to pop the bucks for a Bitz and doesn't need a multi-fletch jig, Jo-Jan also makes a mono fletcher that's excellent as well. I'd much rather have that than anything made of plastic.
