Default One more time before I have to leave

Okay, I know now that I'm going to go with a heavier arrow. Not a 485 grain arrow, maybe, but some heavier. Here's what I'm looking at:

Gold Tip Pro Hunter -----------------------------+/- .001" straightness
Beman ICS Hunter Elite ------------------------- +/- .001" straightness
Easton A/C/C & Axis Full Metal Jacket ------------ +/- .002"straightness
Carbon Express Maxima, CX, and Terminator Lite--+/- .0025 straightness

If you were going to buy arrows again, and money wasn't an issue, which would you get? One of the above, or another one that I've missed?

ACC's then the maximas. I wouldn't even consider the other two personally.

I use the gold tip pro's and I haven't had a single problem with them. That being said I have never tried the other 3...

I am buying a dozen acc's, use to shoot the Beman ICS hunter. The last 2 bucks that I have shot broke the arrows.

I shoot Easton Axis APG arrows and have no complaints but money is an issue and they're what I have so I don't want to change. I don't have personal experience with any of the four choices but I have witnessed a few tests involving the gold tips, the maximas, and the a/c/c's. The arrows were all shot using a hooter shooter tocompare their consistency and how well they shot bare shafted. The Gold Tip and the Carbon express maxima arrows shot incredibly well. They definately stood out above the rest. The Gold tips made two ragged holes, while the maxima's made a solid line, with every shot connected. The a/c/c's were surprisingly disappointing considering their reputation. And the red metal addition to the maxima's where the nock is installed does not make them robin hood proof Good luck with your decision!

I just switched from the Beamans to the Carbon Tech XPs at Len's suggestion. He glued in ACC nock inserts for me. I''m really happy with them. He had cut both ends to elimanate flaws at the ends and they're the straightest things I've ever shot. They spin like a top, everyone of them. They're tougher than nails too. The XPs with the yellow print are the straightest. mine with 125 grain heads and 4 fletch mini quick spins cut to 28 inches weigh in at 467 grains. I really like them. Straightness of .0015.
