;)Ha! Thanks, TeeJay! I understand where you're coming from.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I managed to find a dozen Gold Tip Pro Hunter 7595's in Hardwoods HD last night. With a 125 grain point, the total arrow weight is around 485 grains. I need to get them weighed to be sure. The spine on these is .300. I was looking for a .340 spine, but looking again at the GoldTip chart, I fall at the borderline of group 5 and group 6, so I went with the stiffer spine. If I have to, I'll add one turn on the limb bolts and take the bow up to 73 pounds.
I took the advice of some of you and picked up an Arrow Squaring Device also. That's a cool gizmo. I had a chance to shoot a couple of rounds when I got home. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!. Haven't had a chance to shoot BH's yet, but the arrows now fly straight, and it made an amazing difference in the quietness and vibration of the bow.

ACC's then the maximas. I wouldn't even consider the other two personally.

Please elaborate on why you wouldn't use at GT pro hunter. [&:]
I just don't like Gold Tips, it's a personal thing is all.

YUP, some real inconsistancy in GT shafts.

David,
I don't suppose you'd be willing to elaborate on that, would you? If I need to watch out for something, I'd like to know what it is.

We've spun a lot of different arrows. We found some gold tips to really be out when they're brand new in both straightness and weight.

Were these pro series shafts? Now I don't claim for them to have the most consistent spine but the weight tolerances for the last 5-6 dozen I have owned personally were all within advertised tolerances (except for one arrow in 5-6 dozen) and they all spun very well.

Honestly I think all the shafts listed above by little chief are a good quality shaft. I do like the gold tips but that is because I really think their component system i.e. pin nocks, are the best quality component system on the market. In my opinion, the only other component system that is close is eastons pin nock system which is only available on shafts that cost well over $200 per dozen.

Beeman, the arrows are very durable, pack a lot of punch, and are quick for their weight
