Confessions of a Whitetail Addict
Time to come clean guys. Fill in the blanks... "I have actually ______."
I have actually feigned the death of a family member during the rut to get out of school to go hunting. I have actually changedout of my hunting clothesand into my dress suit and wingtipsalong a major interstate highway in deer seasonbecauseone of my buddiesdecided to get married in lateOctober. I have actually dated a girl during bow seasonjust because I wanted to hunt on her family'sproperty. |

I have actually, practically, been accused of running children off their see-saws to shoot a deer that had just jumped over the monkey bars and dodged 4 toddlers on their hippity-hops.

Quick i have actually left school at lunch (when i was in high school) skipped my next class, study hall, tagged my buck and got back before my next class.
I have actually got my parents to sign a permission slip for a physics field trip, told the teacher i wasn't going, but turned the permission slip into the office in order to hunt my farm in primetime mid-november. Quick your last one was great, the question is which looked better? Her or the property?:D |
RE: Confessions of a Whitetail Addict
I have based the purchase of my house to be near huntable land. (I'm looking fora new one that actually has land that backs up to my yard)
I have looked for jobs that either have A) property that I can hunt near them or on my commute B) have hours that are flexible so that I can work my schedule around hunting in the fall C) have both (got that now):D I have befriended people I can't stand knowing they have good property (this never works in the long run) I scheduled my wedding so that it was not during hunting season. I based the conception of my son such that he would not be born at a time that would interfere with hunting. |

I based the conception of my son such that he would not be born at a time that would interfere with hunting. The girl was scary looking by the way. Coyote ugly. Okay, not that bad, but not that good either. Looks are all relative - relative tothe other availableoptions. Her looks were relatively bad. |

|
RE: Confessions of a Whitetail Addict
Does your wife know this? Or was it one of those things that you just pretended was a "coincidence." LMAO |
RE: Confessions of a Whitetail Addict
I have actually drove an hour to hunt the last 50 minutes of light.
I have actually loaded 160# buck into the back of my folks minivan because my truck was broke down(I did use a blanket and tarp but still, don't tell the folks please!) I have actually never met a backstrap I didn't like. I have actually hunted in the morning changed on the way to work and forgot about my face paint. Try explaining what kind of doctors appt. that was. |
