Shakey Hunter vs. QAD LD Ultrarest
Anyone use either of these? What are the benefits of each and what are the cons?
Thanks Jim |
RE: Shakey Hunter vs. QAD LD Ultrarest
Ive used both and I would pick the QAD hands down. Its a full containment, you dont have to worry about clearing your broadhead blades on your bow shelf. Even though its plastic, its still very durable.

RE: Shakey Hunter vs. QAD LD Ultrarest
I ONLY have experience with the QAD. I've utilized ot for over a year with NO issues. I bought it for one reason......I can add moleskin to it with no issues.....and it's dead quiet.

I also use the QAD and haven't even considered switching. Great rest, full contain, no noise, and works without any problems.

RE: Shakey Hunter vs. QAD LD Ultrarest
I have used a Trophy taker for four years and it is an excellent all metal rest. The shakey is on my Bowtech and the original TT is on my 3rd bow since I 1st bought it. It has performed perfectly on my bows, my wifes, and my kids'.

RE: Shakey Hunter vs. QAD LD Ultrarest
I have usedthemboth:D
I give a slight edge to Ultra rest LD for two reasons 1.Lock down, no bounce back 2.Ability to let down your bow without setting it off. I give a slight edge to the TT on Tuning though. The Ultra rest is a litttle harder sometimes. Either way you have a winner |
