broadheads for turkeys?

RE: broadheads for turkeys?
The biggest, nastiest mechanical you can get your hands on. Personally, I shoot Rocket Hammerheads at them, 2" is a good hole.
For you guys that want to keep the arrow in the bird, which really isn't a bad idea, put an adder point behind the broadhead. Yes, it adds a little weight, but you will only penetrate a few inches...

I've had good results with Rocket Hammerheads. They have a 2 in. cutting diameter and with my 60# Vengeance usually stay in the bird to increase internal damage and keep the bird from flying. A decent wing shot will usually result in a short tracking job.

Gobbler Guillitines are the best way to go...quick and easy kill...i just ordered them from a friend and can't wait to get here! the thing is like Bigbuck said earlier, you need longer arrows cause of the massive cutting radius on these puppies...as long as you can get one within 25 yds, your good to go...i'm hopin to get one on video this year so it should be quite a experience!

Use any ole broadhead that will fly good and throw an adder point behind it. You won't shoot through the bird and the arrow will stay in. Another fun way to get em is to blunt them in the head. They won't go far.

I wouldn't reccomend the Rocket Sledgehammer 3 1/2 unless you have about 80-90 ft lb ke.I only have 54 ft lb.
This is what they look like on a briscuit hit.The bird will fly up,the arrow will fall out and you will never find the bird.[:'(]They are for broadside shots only imo.
