The bowshop here in my town would have had it done the next week.

maybe they broke a limb when the put in the bow vise????? yes,. way to long!!!!

Something is up. There is no way any reputable shop is keeping a bow for this long over a string.

What?!?!?!?!?!?!? Do you realize what month it is? I'd go in there and ask for my bow. Make sure it's not screwed up BEFORE you leave. Something fishy has to be going on, or they just don't care about business. If they're still in business, they won't be for long.
Go home,haveyour very best huntin' buddies over. Tell them what happened then ask them eachto kick you square in the tail........bend over.
You have to accept some of the blame for this delay.

That's insanely tooooo long. There is NO excuse for them taking so long for something so simple. Get your bow back and take it to a good shop. Voice your displeasure to them.

I am with everyone else on this one, i would have with drawls from not havin my bow for that long....
