I used the Primos sling for 1 day of elk hunting and ended up going without a sling the rest of theweek because I hated it so much. I now use a sling that literally hooks to the cable guard (after installing the hook that is). Literally detaches in a jiffy and you can detach it as you are slipping your release on. Works great. I would recommend not paying the extra for a Primos. I hated it because if you took the top cam cover off, the bottom would often hang on and then make it impossible to draw. The beauty of the other sling is it has no chance of getting caught up in the cams when drawing.

I use one, like it very much, just do not climbup the tree with it in the sling, or pull the bow up by the sling.

I use one and like it also, I like the extra little bit of protection they offer. I also like that my hands are free going to and from the stand.

I shorten the sling up and just carry it by my side. I never put it on my shoulder or carry it across my back.

I love mine! I even use itwhile inmy case to protect the string from getting wear on it. It's great for those long hauls to the stand. The only time i dont use mine is walking out of my stand after my morning hunt and going back in for the evening hunt. That's because you never know when you may jump a deer, and having this on and trying to get a shot at a deer walking in is slim. That's the only downfall about this product.

picked one up at Walmart a few months ago on clearance for 10$ to use this fall.

My buddy has one and loves it. I really like the idea and had been contemplating on making my own before I saw my buddy's model.

I think it'll be a winner.

Great product. I would also recommend getting a pack that has a bow carrier also. Its real nice to have both hands free when you are hauling out meat on the first trip.
