Life is slow...... Mr. Davidmil's Neighborhood
OK, nothing seems to be going on here. Here are a couple trails I thought you'd like to hunt on. Problem is they're coming into my birdfeeder in the middle of a neighborhood of half acre lots. It would be about an 18 yard shot to the intersection of these two trails. I can set up an easy chair, climb on the roof or hang a stand in a tree growing next to the patio. That would make it about a 12 yard shot. I have anywhere from 5-10 deer a night. They cost me about 75 pounds of corn and 25 pounds of apples a week with a few peanuts here and there. The one is the biggest I've seen for the past 3 seasons anywhere. I have his fighting weight up to somewhere over 200 pounds right now with about a 21-22 inch spread. When he comes into the corn and apples.... everyone scatters. He's a real bully. His little brothers show up all the time. The other night a little 5 point watched me cook a couple steaks from about 15 yards away. He finally got nervous and left before I burned the meat. This half acre lot can be leased for the right price.

NO FENCE..... just a road and a school yard. Here's a picture where they cross the road, cross my neighbors lawn and come to my yard. It is cool to look out the window and see deer at less than 20 yards every night and once in a while during the day.

Well at least you wouldn't have to make a long drive then walk a mile to your stand!

I wish we had those kind of numbers around here. You are a lucky man. If I could only live somewhere that I could average seeing 10 deer a setting, I would be on cloud 9.
